 The Family's Secret recipe: Don't forget to collect the best-favorite recipes from your parents...I promise you...you'll miss and regret not getting that special recipe that no one else has. Mine was grandmothers cornbread that we preferred more than a piece of cake. It was baked slow on top of the stove, with a lid, in a cast iron skillet, all white corn. No one has it. I've tried recipe books etc., but nothing comes close to the taste of Grandmother's Southern Baked Corn Bread.
