Emily M. Wilcox b. 2-25-1864 Miller Co., Mo. d. March, 1893 miller Co., Mo. daughter of Payton M. and Minerva Duncan Wilcox they both are from Scott Co., Va.

In the 1880 census: Glaize Twp., Miller Co., Mo.
James Shelton 19 born Tn. same as his parents. he was living with George W. Anderson b. Ky. Next door was a John L. Wilcox brother of Emily and next to his family is a Kilgore Family and this family has a girl living with them by the name Susan Shelton 16 born Tn. same as parents.
Possibilities are;

James Elbert Shelton and Susan Shelton are brother and sister coming from Tn. _ found there was a Shelton Family in Tn. David and Sarah Vaughan Shelton in the 1860 Census Hancock Co., Tn. had a Francis (Fanny) Shelton b. 1858 Tn. and James b. 1860 Tn., then we find them again in the 1870 census living with a family of John and Sarah Vaughan as orphans and there was a brother by the name of Henry Shelton b. 1861 and sister Susan Shelton b. 1864. They both were born Hancock Co., Tn.
